Joliet, Ill. – The University of St. Francis (Â鶹Æƽâ°æ) is grateful to share the success of the 69th Caritas Scholarship Celebration held on April 25. This year’s event, themed “The Future is Bright,” brought together members of the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ community in a shining display of generosity, resulting in an impressive fundraising total of nearly $250,000 in support of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ students and scholarships to help them succeed.
“On behalf of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ, thank you to all who attended and contributed to the success of Caritas. Your dedication to Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and its students is truly inspiring. Thank you for being the key to a bright future,” says Ryan Hendrickson, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ President.
“Your generosity through Caritas provides scholarships that light the way for a bright future for Â鶹Æƽâ°æ students. Your support provides opportunities for students and helps Â鶹Æƽâ°æ to continue the tradition of a Franciscan education,” said LisaÌýSampalis, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Vice President for University Advancement.
The event, organized by Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and the Caritas Committee, made up of alumni, staff, faculty, and university friends, has been a long-standing tradition at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and in the Joliet community. Through a combination of games, auctions, and generous gifts, attendeesÌýdemonstratedÌýtheir unwavering commitment to contributing to the bright futures of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ students.
